Effective 9 August 2026
This policy explains what MAVERICKX PTE. LTD. collects when you use ExtrmSport, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
ExtrmSport is operated by MAVERICKX PTE. LTD., a company incorporated in Singapore. We are the organisation responsible for the personal data described here, and we handle it under the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
This policy covers all three parts of ExtrmSport:
Where something is true of only one of them, we say which. Sites we link to are not covered by this policy — they have their own.
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The weights, canopy sizes, dates and prices you type are never sent to us, never written to your device, and never stored anywhere. Close the tab and the figures are gone. We know a calculator page was viewed, because of the analytics described below, but we do not know what you put into it.
We run our own analytics on infrastructure we control. We use no third-party analytics service, and analytics data about you does not leave our infrastructure. It records the usual things a visit log records: your IP address, from which your approximate location is estimated, the pages you view and when, the page that referred you, and your browser and device. To group those views into visits it sets cookies on this domain, readable only by us and expiring on their own. The visitor identifier they carry is a random value: it is not derived from your name or email address, and we do not connect it to your account.
Separately, our hosting and the application keep technical records of requests, which may include your IP address, so that we can keep the service running and investigate faults and abuse. Those are not combined with the analytics above and are not used to build a profile of you.
You do not need an account to read this site or to use the calculators. If you create one on app.extrmsport.com, we hold the details you give us when you register and the settings you save afterwards.
You may sign in using an account you already hold with another provider, through OpenID Connect. If you do, that provider tells us enough to identify you — typically your email address and a provider-side identifier — and tells us nothing else. We never see the password you use with them. Signing in this way also tells that provider that you signed in to ExtrmSport; what they do with that is governed by their own privacy policy, not this one.
If you use a reminder feature, we hold the dates and licence details you enter, because a reminder cannot be calculated without them, and the email address it is sent to. If you take a paid plan, we hold the billing details you give us and the record of payments made and due; plans are settled by bank transfer, so we do not take card payments and we do not handle or store card numbers.
Dropzone listings and community posts are published, not private. A listing carries the details entered on the listing form, contact details among them, and those are visible to anyone who visits the page. Do not put a personal phone number or a home address in a listing unless you intend the world to have it. The same is true of anything you post at community.extrmsport.com: posts are public, and search engines index them.
We use the data described above only to:
We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. We do not serve advertising and we run no advertising cookies. We do not build profiles of individuals, and we make no automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
When you create an account, save a date or publish a listing, you give us that information so we can do the thing you asked for, and we treat your consent to that use as given. For analytics, you consent by continuing to use the site with cookies enabled in your browser.
To stop the analytics, block or delete cookies for this site in your browser settings; every current browser offers this. Besides analytics we set only small cookies that carry no personal data and simply remember the state of your visit, such as whether you are signed in, so that the site can show you the right thing. Nothing on the public site depends on cookies to work — the calculators in particular do not use them at all — so blocking them costs you nothing there. Signing in to the application does require a session cookie. You may also write to our Data Protection Officer and ask us to remove the records associated with your visits.
You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@maverickxtech.com. We will tell you the likely consequences before we act — for most account data, the consequence is that the account cannot continue, because there is nothing left to run it on. Once we act we will stop the relevant use. Withdrawal does not affect anything done before it took effect, and does not override any obligation we have to retain records under Singapore law.
We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not disclose it for anyone else's marketing. Personal data is disclosed only to:
Separately, anything you publish — a dropzone listing, a community post — is seen by everyone, because that is what publishing it means. That is not a disclosure by us; it is the feature working.
The service is delivered through infrastructure with servers in more than one country, so a request from you may be served from, and processed at, a location outside Singapore.
Where personal data is transferred out of Singapore we take steps, as the PDPA's Transfer Limitation Obligation requires, to satisfy ourselves that it will receive a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.
The analytics cookies expire on your device on their own. The visit records they generate are held on our own server for as long as we operate the service and continue to need them to understand how it is used; we review this periodically and will state a fixed retention period here once one is set.
Account data, saved dates and listings are kept for as long as the account is open. Close your account and we delete or anonymise them, except where we are required to keep a record — billing records for a paid plan being the usual case. Email you send us is kept for as long as it remains relevant to our dealings with you.
Community posts are the exception worth stating plainly: a discussion thread is a shared record, so deleting your account does not automatically erase everything you have posted in it. Ask us and we will remove or anonymise your posts where doing so does not destroy the sense of someone else's.
Everything is served over HTTPS. Our analytics run on infrastructure we control rather than a third-party platform, which limits how far the data travels. Access to our servers and mailboxes is restricted to people who need it. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise; if a data breach occurs that is likely to result in significant harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Personal Data Protection Commission as the PDPA requires.
Under the PDPA you may ask us to:
Send any of these requests to our Data Protection Officer at dpo@maverickxtech.com. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can. If we cannot respond within 30 days we will tell you within that time when we will. We may charge a reasonable fee for an access request, and will tell you the amount before proceeding. In a small number of cases the PDPA requires or permits us to refuse a request; if that happens we will tell you why.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
Accounts are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18, and the reading matter on this site assumes a reader who is already jumping or training to. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to our Data Protection Officer and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. When we do, we will publish the revised version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes to how we handle personal data already collected will not be applied retrospectively without a fresh basis for doing so.
Our Data Protection Officer is responsible for our compliance with the PDPA and is the contact for anything in this policy:
