My AFF came to about $8,326 SGD in 2023, and rather less than half of that was jumping.
This is one course, one provider, one person travelling from Singapore. It is what I paid, not what AFF costs.

The iFly indoor training is sold as optional. I doubt it is, for me at least. Even with it, things did not go smoothly - that is the AFF course itself.
The AFF package covered nine coach jumps and equipment rental, and my provider arranged everything. Booking the pieces separately would probably cost less. I needed a tenth jump because I did not clear everything in nine, which is the line item for extra jumps.
The rest is travel, and it is travel because there is no dropzone in Singapore. I did the course in Thailand for that reason.
The $890 of daily expense is nine days of eating well in Thailand. I would likely have spent twice that at home.
